Welcome to Friday, everyone!
This week has been a little crazy – I’ve had a lot of reading to do for my classes since the last WIR post, but fortunately, I’m past that (at least, for now). With all of the busyness, I didn’t get a chance to write a “proper” post this past Monday, but I did share some cool new projects I’ve been working on with the blog! You can check out all that in my post “A Rather Messy Monday.”
(Spoilers: I added two new pages to my blog: an “Archives” page and a “My Writing” page)
Also, this week in Musings History, I shared a blog post about my first few weeks of college back at the beginning of my freshman year. It’s really interesting to look back on it now and see how much has changed since my first year!
As for the rest of the week…

In School… Things are busy, but not bad! Second week is when things really start happening, but fortunately, I made it through alive. I have some group projects coming up in the next few weeks, so that’ll probably be busy, but I think I can manage okay.
Reading… Throne of Glass still. I’m a little more than halfway through, and the story’s picking up! I’m definitely intrigued now.
Playing… Ace Attorney still, and way too much Pokemon Go. I hardly played this summer because of my job, but now that I’m back on campus (and our GoCast group chat is alive and well), I’ve been running across campus to catch rare Pokemon. It’s fun, but also very, very tiring.
Excited for… This weekend! Tomorrow (Saturday), I’m going to a small comic-con about 90 minutes away with one of my friends. It’s the first time I’ve ever been to one, so I’m excited (also, if you have any convention tips, I’d be happy to hear them). Then on Sunday, I’m going to a wedding for one of my friends, which will also be a lot of fun. A busy weekend ahead, but a lot to look forward to!
Thankful for… trying new things, comfy jackets, good stories, Pokemon Go, Madame Dravk, and umbrellas.
