Week In Review – October 13

Welcome to Friday, everyone!

I had a pretty busy week this week, but now I’m happily enjoying my fall break, and things are pretty relaxed right now. This past weekend, I was home visiting my family and I had the opportunity to participate in the local AFSP Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention. It was really an amazing event, and I was so glad I got to be a part of it. Thank you for your support!

This week, I wrote a blog post about why I don’t delete old posts on social media. It’s an idea I’ve been kicking around for a while, and I was finally able to put it into words this week. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!

As for the rest of the week…

Song of the Week

Internet Round-Up

In school… as I said before, I just wrapped up a pretty hectic week, so I have a little bit of downtime now, but it’s all going to pick up again on Monday. I have a Marketing midterm on Tuesday, plus a bunch of other assignments to work on, so I’m pretty busy. Fortunately, the projects aren’t as big as they were this week, so at least I have that.

Reading… Resistance by Jaye L. Knight still. I’m actually going to be doing a readathon with my roommate tomorrow, so I’m hoping to finish it then and start something else new. I’m behind on my reading goal, but I’m determined to catch up.

Writing… for my NaNoWriMo novel, mostly. I’m just about to the point where I’ll have to start working on the outline, and so I’m hoping to begin with that soon. At the very least, I want to have a rough idea of what I’m doing.

Feeling… a little tired, honestly. Not so much sleepy tired, but “I’ve been doing so much lately,” tired. I do have some fun things planned for this weekend, but I’m also planning out some time to relax and recover so I can start next week fresh.

Looking forward to… spending the weekend with my friends! A bunch of us chose to stay on campus over fall break, and another one of our friends came to visit, so she’ll be spending the weekend with us too. I’m also hoping to go to a nearby bookstore on Sunday for an event they’re holding with Elizabeth Wein, author of Code Name Verity, one of my favorite historical fiction books.

Thankful for… chocolate pretzels, going to the amusement park with my brother, spending time with my dad, walking with my mom, baked potatoes, my RD, teachers who believe in me, green tea, and fun times at Pokemon Go raids.

Readers, how was your week? Feel free to share in the comments, I’d love to hear about what you’ve been up to!

See you on Monday!
