Welcome to Friday, everyone!
This week was pretty good for me! NaNoWriMo began, and I’m really enjoying it so far. Aside from that, school has been going well, and I’ve been feeling less stressed, so overall, things are pretty great!
On my blog this week, I shared my NaNoWriMo Survival Kit, just some tips and tricks for not falling over during the writing competition. If you’re participating this year (or even if you’re not), feel free to check it out!
As for the rest of the week…
Song of the Week
Internet Round-Up
- My roommate, Charmaine, uploaded her vlog from our 24-hour readathon in October. If you like books and/or my sense of humor, it’s worth watching.
- I really enjoyed this classical guitar medley of iconic songs from Stranger Things.
In school… I’ve been less stressed, thankfully. This week was much easier than the last one, I’m just hoping it stays that way for now. I’ll be working on my group marketing plan project over the next few weeks, but other than that, everything is pretty calm right now. It’s a much-needed break.
Writing… for NaNoWriMo! The competition started on Wednesday, and as of right now, I’m a few hundred words ahead of the game. I’m hoping to keep that cushion for a little while, since I know things will be pretty busy later this month.
Playing… Breath of the Wild, mostly. I’ve been working through a few sidequests lately, and it’s fun to be able to play as a “reward” for getting all of my work done each day.
Watching… Nothing at the moment, but I plan on starting season two of Stranger Things soon. I rewatched season one last week, so now it’s on to the new episodes!
Listening to… Rad Science by Eleventyseven! The CD won’t be released until Tuesday (11/7), but since I was one of their Kickstarter backers, I received my copy early. I love it so much! I’ve been listening to Eleventyseven since I was a kid, and it’s cool to see how much they’ve grown up with me over the years.
Feeling… better than I was last week, thankfully. The weekend promises to be relaxing and low key, and I’m really looking forward to that.
Thankful for… getting to sleep in, spending time with my writer friends, going shopping with my roommate, new cozy flannels, and that the first day of NaNoWriMo went well.
