Week In Review – December 29

Happy Friday, everyone!

It’s hard to believe this is my last blog post of 2017, but here we are – another year come and gone! I’ve been working on a “2017 In Review” post, which will go up on New Year’s Day, and it’s been a lot of fun to look back on all of the awesome things that happened this past year. I can’t wait to share it with you! But in the meantime, you can read my post from this past Monday, which is all about my favorite Christmas traditions. (And if you missed it, you can see my “Behind the Scenes” video where I create that very post)

I really enjoyed spending Christmas with my family and friends this year, and now we’re getting ready to celebrate the New Year together. But in the meantime, here’s what I’ve been up to…

Song of the Week

Internet Round-Up

Reading… nothing right now, but I finished The Archived earlier this week, and I just read Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy, which was… okay. They were both pretty decent books, but I probably won’t be re-reading them anytime soon. I’m not sure what I’ll read next, but I really want to read Stars Above by Marissa Meyer soon, so maybe I’ll look out for that.

Watching… Not much right now either, but I did get to go see The Last Jedi about a week ago, and that was awesome. I really enjoyed the movie, but as for a more critical review, I’m not sure yet. Maybe I’ll save that for another day, but I still recommend seeing the movie (If you’ve seen the other Star Wars films, that is).

Looking forward to… celebrating the New Year with my friends!

Thankful for… Duck Donuts, chocolate chip cookies, watching football with my family, winning at Super Smash Bros., and spending time at the library.

Readers, how was your week? How are you celebrating the New Year? Let me know in the comments!

See you in 2018!
