Happy Friday everyone!
I hope you’ve had a good week and are enjoying your last day before the weekend! I’m looking forward to having a few days off myself. By the way, if you need something to do this weekend, why not try out bullet journaling? I just shared my bullet journal this past week, so if you need some inspiration, go take a look!
Song of the Week
Internet Round-Up
- From Game Theory: It’s Time to STOP the Logan Paul Loophole
If you’ve been following the Logan Paul story at all, MatPat’s approach to the situation is by far the best reaction I’ve seen. If you’re unaware of the whole story, don’t bother – it’s better if you don’t know.
(Warning for non-graphic mentions of suicide and some PG-13 content) - From Nowhalle: Invisible Pain
She’s a good friend of mine, and I’m so happy about what she’s doing to spread awareness of invisible pain. Please take a few minutes to watch! - From Atomic Melody: Dear Evan Hansen piano medley
- From Hannah Heath: Writing Homeschooled Characters
- From Jordan Taylor: Which Fast Food Water Is the WORST?
In school… My philosophy class is still going well, so that’s a good sign! My first exam is coming up next week, but I’ve already started preparing, so I’m sure I’ll be ready when the time comes.
(Re)Reading… the Gallagher Girls series still! I finished the first three books, and I’m just starting the fourth one, Only the Good Spy Young. This is where the story starts really getting good, so I’m very excited. It’s also fun to revisit my favorite characters, so that’s an added bonus.
Playing… Pokemon Ultra Moon. My team is finally starting to come together, even though they’re still rather underpowered. However, I spent a chunk of time the other day planning out the team I wanted to have, what moves I wanted them to know, etc., so now I have a plan going forward. I know that probably sounds kinda crazy, but I do enjoy the whole strategizing/planning aspect of these games, even if it’s somewhat simplified.
Looking forward to… next weekend when I go home to see my family! My brother is performing in another one of his shows, so I’ll be going to that, and I’m hoping to see some basketball games in there somewhere too. It’ll be nice to have a weekend at home.
Thankful for… painting with my RA, my boots, the beautiful snow, going ice skating with my friends, a long restful weekend, and tea.
