Happy Friday, everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well, especially those in the northeast who may have gotten hit with a bit of snow this week… Fortunately, my school cancelled classes on Wednesday, so I didn’t have to go out in the snow too much. It’s a little strange, actually, getting two snow days in one semester. My week was already pretty light work-wise, so having that day off was a real treat.
This week, I shared three of my favorite podcasts that I’m listening to right now. I’ve been getting back into podcasts recently, especially while working on projects and such. If you’re looking for something new to listen to, be sure to give it a read!

In school… I’m back at classes again (except for that snow day we had), and I’ve had an unusually light week. I do have two exams coming up though, so I’ll be studying over the weekend, but right now, things are pretty good. I’ve enjoying having a little more extra time lately.
Outlining… my story for Camp NaNoWriMo next month! I’ve officially committed to participating, and I’m planning on doing a re-write of a novella I wrote in high school, Summertime. I’ve written up the bare-bones outline, now I just need to flesh out some of the ideas and figure out where I’m taking it.
Reading… nothing at the moment, but I just finished Geektastic, a collection of short stories about all things geek. I really enjoyed reading it, especially since it was a lot of fun, geeky stuff. Granted, some of it wasn’t the sort of thing I’m super interested in (astronomy, theatre, etc.), but they were still really great stories. I hope to start my other short story collection soon!
Looking forward to… chilling out this weekend and possibly going to see The Greatest Showman on campus. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of musicals (mostly because the music usually isn’t my style), but I’ve heard really good things about this movie, and the tickets are free, so I might make some time to go. There’s also a D&D event happening on campus over the weekend, so I might stop in there as well.
Thankful for… ice cream, finishing my chapel credits, playing MarioKart with my brother, snow days, podcasts, and puzzles.
Readers, how was your week? What are you looking forward to this weekend and beyond? Let me know in the comments!
See you on Monday!
