Week In Review – May 4

Happy Friday, everyone!

Congrats on making it through this week AND through all of April! Go ahead, give yourself a pat on the back. It’s a busy time of year for many of us, but we’re all making it through.

Speaking of April, I compiled my 1 Second Everyday clips from the past month into a short, 30-second video. If you’re interested in seeing how my 1SE project is coming along, you can see my progress below!

This week, I shared some thoughts about Myers-Briggs types and INTJs in particular, especially when it comes to the idea of “being nice.” I had a really good time thinking about this one, so I hope you enjoy it as well!

There are also just two weeks left to participate in my blog survey and giveaway! Be sure to read all the details here.

Song of the Week

Internet Round-Up

In school… Things are pretty busy at the moment. I just have two days of classes left before final exams begin, and to be honest, I haven’t had as much time as I hoped to start preparing. Some of my homework assignments I’ve been working on helped me a lot, but I still have a lot to accomplish in the next few days, and not as much time to do it. I know it’ll get accomplished, there’s just been a lot of running around that I really need to make sure I use my time wisely.

Watching… Infinity War! I went with some of my friends last weekend, and we had a really great time. I won’t say much more, since I don’t want to spoil anything, but if you’re a Marvel fan, you’re gonna want to see this one. But then again, you probably already knew that.

Writing… nothing at the moment, but I did complete my novella for Camp NaNo on Monday evening! Technically, I reached my goal on Sunday, but I still had one more chapter to write, which I was able to do on Monday, making my final word count 26,816 words. I’m much more pleased with this version of the story than with the original drafts. I definitely still have some revisions ahead of me, but overall, I’d call this a success.

Feeling… a little burnt out, but not too bad otherwise. With the semester wrapping up, things are pretty crazy in my life, which means lots of running around. On the bright side, the weather here has been absolutely wonderful, so I’ve been able to spend a lot of time outside and hang out with friends and play Pokémon Go. Spending time outside has really improved my mood, so even though I’m feeling tired, the sunshine has made it bearable.

Looking forward to… Going to City RockFest tonight and seeing Disciple, Spoken, and As We Ascend! It’s my birthday gift to myself, and I’m super excited to be able to see these artists in concert. And I’ll be celebrating my birthday this weekend (probably with homework and studying…), but that’s always a fun thing. My mom is coming to visit me on Monday too, so I’m happy about that as well.

Thankful for… my family, my job, watching movies with my friends, winning Camp NaNo, Pokémon Raids, spending time outside, poetry, words, and warm cookies.

I know it seems like I’m always mentioning cookies, but really guys. Cookies are great. They make any day better.

What do you have going on this weekend? Do you have exams coming up too? What do your summer plans look like? Let me know in the comments!

See you on Monday!
