Like with almost any label someone can apply to themselves (baker, photographer, reader, etc.), there seems to be some set of criteria for calling yourself a gamer, but no one knows what it is. What separates a gamer from a non-gamer? What’s on that mythical list of requirements? Today, I’d like to answer that question and finally put an end to these discussions.
Before I dive into that though, I want to give a shoutout to the wonderful people in the Geeks Under Grace community! I posed this same question in their Facebook group, and while these thoughts in my post are mine alone, discussing this topic with them helped me process some of my own ideas.
This week was the first week of school, and I’ve been pretty busy with stuff already, so this WIR is gonna be short (by the way, quick question for you all at the end of this post, if you enjoy sharing your opinions). Anyway, this week, I shared 6 Tips on Surviving College as an Introvert, so if you’re in college, this one’s for you!
As for the rest of the week, here’s a quick wrap-up!
Welcome to Friday, everyone! Can you believe May is already almost over? it seems crazy to me.
This week, I shared 7 Lessons I Learned from a Local Author Fair after I went to one this past Saturday. I had a great time and learned a lot, so if you’re interested in learning a few writing lessons, stop on over there!
I’ve also decided to start doing something like “This Day in Musings History,” Where I’ll share a blog post I wrote roughly a year ago. About a year ago today, I shared my Arizona Adventures with all of you! It’s amazing to me how that was a whole year ago – it feels like just yesterday!
Welcome to March, everyone! I hope you had an awesome February and enjoyed the extra day yesterday. I had a pretty great February myself, and I’m excited to share some of it with you! So, without further ado, here’s my Best of February!
February was a pretty rough month for blogging. Things got busy with school, so I didn’t have as much time for blogging as I would have liked. However, I did still manage to write a few blog posts! In case you missed it, here’s what I wrote:
Surprise! I bet you weren’t expecting to see a post on a Monday, were you?
Anyway, I decided I want to start something called “Best Of,” which will be a post at the end of each month where I can share some of my favorite things from the last thirty days. It’s a mismatch of books, articles, music, and and other moments, sort of like my “2015: Year In Review” post I did earlier in the year.
Anyway, without further ado, here’s my Best of January!
