Well, another year is coming to a close. On one hand, it feels like January was just yesterday, but on the other hand, it feels like 20 years have passed in these twelve months.
When I wrote my 2015 summary earlier this year, I had just started blogging. This year, however, with a year of blogging behind me, I’ve been writing more regular updates through my “Best Of” and “Week in Review” posts. Because of that, I’m going to keep my summary pretty much to-the-point, but I’ll link to other blog posts where I discuss the topics more in-depth.
I mentioned last week that I was headed off to Uprise Fest for the weekend, and I had such a great time! This week, I thought I’d share a bit about my experience and some of the pictures I took as well.
Is this going to become a regular thing? I don’t know. But right now, it sure is looking like it…
Alright, so there’s a lot going on right now. On Thursday, I moved into Messiah College and am currently being subjected to what feels like a thousand different orientations and a lot of social interaction. Okay, it’s really not that bad, but I’ve been pretty busy this week with packing, moving, and just generally getting ready for the school year.
Because of this, I haven’t had a lot of time to dedicate to blogging. I still wanted to get a post out to you this week though, so I thought I’d share some photos with you, very similar to what I did last month. Unlike July though, which was mostly flowers and nature photos, this one is all from Das Awkscht Fescht, an annual antique car show near my house (and no, don’t ask me how to pronounce it). I’ll admit I don’t know a single thing about cars, but I still had fun taking pictures of them!
Anyways, without further ado, click below to see the pictures!
I don’t share much of my photography on my blog, but since I’ve been taking a lot of pictures over the past month and because I forgot to write a blog post for this week, I have some for you today!
It’s actually been super hot outside the last two weeks or so – most days the temperature has been up in the 90s, which might not seem like a lot for some, but it’s pretty hot for a Pennsylvanian who prefers milder summers.
Even so, I ventured out of my house to visit a some local parks. On a few of these excursions, I brought my camera with me to take pictures, since many of these parks have beautiful plants, especially flowers. But anyway, that’s enough talking. Click below to see some of my pictures!
Hey everyone! Apologies for the somewhat late post – May snuck up on me faster than I thought.
I had a pretty good month of April, and I’m hoping you did too. Sure, it had its highs and lows, but all things considered, it wasn’t as busy as others. Anyway, you probably already know the drill for these posts, so without further ado, here is my Best of April!
As I mentioned in last week’s post, I’m participating in a photo-a-day challenge in the month of April! I won’t be talking about it all month, but since I just finished the first week, I wanted to share some of my photos with you.
Each day has a certain theme or topic to stick do, but aside from that, you’re free to take a picture of whatever you want! I’m having a lot of fun with it so far. Anyway, without further ado, here are my photos from the first week!
I knew this blog post had to be written, but instead I sat and played The Oregon Trail on the Internet Archive. Because my priorities are definitely in order. (Also, in case you’re wondering: I did not make it to Oregon. Because again, poor planning.)
Anyway, my weird gaming habits aside, happy April, everyone! I hope your March was awesome – I know mine was! So without further ado, let’s get right to it: Here’s my best of March!
